CCIP Call for Participation (CFP)

Note: the submission deadline is August 10

CCIP sponsors are issuing this CFP for the Climate Challenge Integraton Plugfest (CCIP) to involve as many partcipants in the initiative as possible. The CFP describes how to participate in this project by submitting a short description of the data sharing and collaborative information processing services your organization can contribute that further understanding of the CCIP Scenario.

The CCIP is intended to demonstrate the benefts of standards-based interoperable geospatial applications to support beter delineation of the types of climate-related changes that societies will face in the future. FOSS4G 2009 will be the first in a series of Climate Challenge Plugfests – live events to test sofware that implements certain OGC specifcatons as defned by a test plan covering topics such as data collecton, content management and analysis.
